God's desire living in us

Posted by Tony L Smith on Sunday, December 6, 2015,

Ever since I came to the Lord which was many moons ago and I learnt the Christian lingo, there was these unspoken thought patterns about words and their good or evil meanings that I picked up. Being a man that had his own struggles with sin and trying to get a Christian grip on things I leaned toward the negative side of the word passion and the word desire. To me they just mostly fit into the category of sin.

I finally overcame my one sided view of passion as I came to understand passion f...

The Root of Desire

The Root of Desire

Most of the time we think that we have to ask God to do things for us. To help us with our life, to fix this or fix that. To heal this or that, to give us money, jobs, more strength to live etc..

I am starting to realize that we haven't fully understood our position in him, or his position in us. Sense the father created us, we seem to feel he just set us down here on this earth, gave us a few ability’s, desires, insights and told us to go and have at it. When things don...

The Wedding Garment

The Wedding Garment

Sometimes in our Christian circles, we have accepted certain doctrinal teachings that lean toward irresponsibility. We have allowed ourselves to believe that a so called doctrinal truth holds more power than an internal transformation or the lack of one. If our doctrine is strong enough to hold us up and get us into heaven when we die then we don't have an real or urgent need for transformation or change, 'we're good ri...

Seven Step Creation Technique at Work Within You

Posted by Tony L Smith on Sunday, September 6, 2015,

This is a formula for creation that presently operates in your life. This formula operates whether you are aware of it or not. It is how you create your world.

The purpose of this post is not to bring understanding to all the foundational teachings concerning each part of the formula. Many books have been written about each of these steps and still much is left unexplained. A lot of the understanding you will already know anyway as you read. Some of the steps will wet your appetite to know m...

Grace in the Eyes of the Lord

Grace In the Eyes of the Lord

Ahh.. The Grace of the Lord, such an awesome yet misunderstood concept. We usually think that the Grace of God means the mercy of God, and that it causes the Lord to turn a blind eye to our imperfections. Sometimes we think that it means that God saved us and is going to bless us regardless of our disobedience.
While the above thoughts have some truth to them, they are not the whole truth about Grace.
Lets look a little closer.
Gen 6:8  But Noah found grace in the e...

Wholeness of Mind and Heart

Posted by Tony L Smith on Saturday, February 21, 2015,

I been thinking a lot about wholeness lately and how it relates to faith.
Jesus said  If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7.
Well, we sure do a lot of asking, but don’t do much receiving. It is very apparent that we are not meeting the requirements of these guide lines He put forth.
We explain to ourselves that we must not be in line with the things He wants us to have. Our desires and request must be selfish at best, ...

The Mantle of Elijah and the Mantle of Jesus

Posted by Tony L Smith on Monday, June 6, 2011,

Most every one knows or has at least heard the story of Elijah, Elisha and the double anointing. I'll give a brief summery of the only parts needed to help bring understanding to this hub.

Elisha was touched purposely by Elijah with is mantle early on in the story of their relationship. Elisha was plowing with a team of oxen, Elijah came by and flung at least momentarily his mantle across Elisha. (1Kings 19:19) Elisha got so excited by this act that he sacrificed the oxen, told his mom a...

Understanding of man swept away

Posted by Tony L Smith on Sunday, March 20, 2011,

This word came March 19,2011, but I realize it had been around for a long time, I just decided to step up to the plate and release it.
The word is alive and quickening, the awakening has begun
More, more, more as the tidal waves of divine understanding crumbles the understanding of man, yes even the so called Christian ones. If God isn’t more, then who is, us? Understanding will be shaken, revelations heightened as principals laid up by man will be swept aside.
More, more, more who possibl...

Some thoughts about the Kingdom

Posted by Tony L Smith on Friday, December 31, 2010,

I find there is still a lot of confusion among people concerning the Kingdom of God, or the Kingdom of Heaven.
Far too many still believe that the Kingdom is the organized church, or organized religion. Some are just satisfied to believe it is the life after death in heaven.
Kingdom means dominion of a King. If the organized church or religion is the Kingdom of God, then we have a very weak Kingdom, and a weak King.
These manifestations of church and religion that we have seen thus fa...

The Door of Repentance

Posted by Tony L Smith on Wednesday, December 29, 2010,

It would be real bad if there was no way to repent, meta neo, or change ones mind. What if we were forever stuck with the results our thinking has brought in our lives. This would be a place of no mercy, no hope. It would be a way of life you could not change.
So the ability to repent is a gift from God, an open door to come out from a way of thinking and into a better way of thinking.
Our way of thinking has led to our actions, which have caused the results in our lives, yes ev...
