Wholeness of Mind and Heart

I been thinking a lot about wholeness lately and how it relates to faith.
Jesus said  If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7.
Well, we sure do a lot of asking, but don’t do much receiving. It is very apparent that we are not meeting the requirements of these guide lines He put forth.
We explain to ourselves that we must not be in line with the things He wants us to have. Our desires and request must be selfish at best, therefore that must be the reason we don’t get them.
I understand wanting to be in the will of God, and not wanting to be just asking for a bunch of things just to consume them upon our lust.
But what I am talking about is walking in the favor of God’s sons. We don’t treat our children as bad as we think God treats us.
So this leads us to think that by not asking for things we honor God. But it was Jesus who said, And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. And Joh 16:24  Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
It appears to me that we don’t ask enough! Or better yet, we don’t believe God wants us to have our desires answered.
So back to the point of wholeness, or oneness of mind. Jesus said if thy eye be single (whole) then you are full of light (fire). But if thy eye be evil (or double) then the light within you is dark.
James said a double minded man is unstable in all his ways, let not that man think he will receive anything from the Lord. Sounds a little heavy, right! Well maybe its truth we don’t want to accept.
We seem to think that we can declare, pray, shout, decree a few things and get results. Sometimes we might get results, but usually they are not lasting if our soul is not full of faith.
By full of faith I mean wholly consumed by the belief that we have what we ask. In other words seeing ourselves already possessing the result we desire. Wholeness of thought in the direction or thing we wish to have.
I mean not hoping you will get it, but knowing you have it by being intimate with the result before it manifest. Single in mind and purpose.
You need to be aware or conscience: actual base definition of the Latin is ‘know thoroughly’, so be aware or conscience of the thing your after. Be intimate with the result before you physically have it.
The weak minded, nor the victims can walk this way. Their soundness of mind will be stolen from them by guilt, shame, or judgment. They just will not believe that there sins are totally forgiven. God must still have something against them. To think like this is to say the blood of Jesus wasn’t enough to totally restore you, when in fact it was.
The response of the uncommitted will be " Well, it must not be God’s will", which takes the responsibility away from themselves. They go on loving God as best as they know how, but never truly allowing God to love them as He desires to.

To achieve whole mind takes patience and perseverance. In your patience possess ye your souls. At times there will be a lot of obstacles to overcome to have and remain single in the eye of your heart. The work of meta-neo is at times a labor some task. We truly are like dogs who return to our vomit. We are familiar with living with half a heart. Better safe than sorry? If I don’t try to hard, then the disappointment won’t be as bad. We are already dead when we think like that.
‘But I have never had to wrestle my mind into believing I can walk in victory‘, it seems hard I mean ‘my mind runs ninety to nothing’, who can tame it.
You know, if you can’t run with the foot soldiers, then how will you run with the chariots. I mean if you can’t control your mind, how can you walk in the great things of God.
The fruit of a sound, single, whole mind is peace, love and power.
Be full of the spirit. I assume that means the mind of the spirit also. Emotions don’t always change mind, but mind will change emotions.
So believe you are truly forgiven and restored to purpose. Dream, plan, love, grow, and take the land given to you starting with your mind.
